There’s more evidence that the country’s public education system is failing to teach students about key events in world history, including the murder of six million Jews.

A U.S. Millennial Holocaust Knowledge and Awareness Survey found that adults under 40 do not know much about the Holocaust. According to The Hill, public education is to blame.

Sarah Stern of the Endowment for Middle East Truth says students need to know about this genocide.

“It shows how when racism, anti-Semitism, or any other hatred of the other gets out of hand, where it could lead to,” Stern submits. “It is extremely important that we educate all of our young people.”

She adds that President Trump signed the Never Again Education Act into law earlier this year, authorizing the Holocaust Memorial Museum to create educational materials about the Holocaust. ….
