Washington, DC – A federal judge in Boston on Monday blocked the portion of the One Big Beautiful Bill that President Trump signs that defunds Planned Parenthood.

U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani, an Obama appointee, issued the temporary nationwide restraining order days after the Supreme Court issued a ruling putting limits on the nationwide injunctions that rouge liberal judges can issue.

“The true design of the Defund Provision is simply to express disapproval of, attack, and punish Planned Parenthood, which plays a particularly prominent role in the public debate over abortion,” Planned Parenthood argued in its lawsuit against the defunding measure.
