WASHINGTON, DC – “As a Catholic” are empty words when they come from the lips of Nancy Pelosi.

The Democrat House Speaker from California often touts her Catholic faith when it is beneficial to her political career, but she does not practice it. Under her leadership, Congress has pushed pro-abortion legislation and weakened religious freedom for Catholics and others.

Writing at Israel National News, Rabbi Dov Fischer, an adjunct law professor in California and fellow at the Coalition for Jewish Values, sympathized with devout Catholics who are frustrated by Pelosi.

“What it must feel like to be a devout Catholic in America, yet to be subjected 24/7/365 on the mainstream media to a long line of leading American liberal Democrat opinion makers who cloak their support for … abortion, and so much else of that nature in their Catholicism,” Fischer wrote.
