BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA – An Australian mom is being deluged with insults from mainstream news personalities and online commenters simply for choosing to serve her husband and children.
Brooke Smith, of Brisbane, recently posted a comment in an online moms group about her daily routine, which includes waking up at 4:30 a.m. to make her husband breakfast, Newshub reports.
“I always make sure I don’t go to bed until everyone’s lunches are packed, their clothes are set out for the next day including my husband’s and the house is clean,” the mother of four wrote.
“Sometimes it means I get to bed at nine sometimes that means I get to bed at midnight but I always get up early (4:30 with husband to make his breakfast and coffee),” Smith continued.
Even though her days can be long, Smith said it is worth it. ….
