The Community of Jesus Crucified is a Catholic Private Association that aims to minister to those most in need. Fȇte-Dieu du Teche means a feast of God or Corpus Christi, where a community from different parishes gathers for a Eucharistic procession on a boat, adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Other spiritual works undertaken by the community are 100 hours Bible marathon on a fire truck and a mobile confessional known as the “Spiritual Care Unit,” where in an ambulance, priests are available for confession at parking lots, in front of malls, public gatherings, and so on. The community members testify the fruit of the ministry is an increase in vocation, a return to the sacraments, and conversions to the Catholic Church.
