Washington, DCThe liberal media and abortion activists claimed that banning abortions would kill women.

Women won’t get health care, they will be turned away when they have a miscarriage, and abortion bans will ultimately kill women. Those where the lies the pro-abortion left told people over and over again about what would happen if states ban abortions after the Dobbs decision overturning Roe. V Wade.

Today, the CDC proved those claims totally false.

The U.S. maternal mortality rate decreased to 18.6 deaths per 100,000 live births in 2023, down from 22.3 in 2022, according to new data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A report from the agency’s National Center for Health Statistics, published Wednesday, found that in 2023, 669 women died of maternal causes compared to 817 women who died of the same causes in 2022. …
