Washington, DC – Abortions funded through the U.S. military’s TRICARE health care system have plunged to their lowest levels in five years, with fewer babies killed in abortions.

The sharp decline is attributed to President Donald Trump’s reversal of Biden-era policies that expanded access to abortions, according to Defense Health Agency records released this month.

The data, disclosed November 20 in response to a Freedom of Information Act request, shows TRICARE recorded just two abortions through June 11, 2025 — compared with 35 for all of 2021 under Biden. …
