Time was when a presidential election campaign didn’t start until after Labor Day. Those days are long gone, though, and that tradition has fallen victim to COVID-19 and the Democrats’ Election Season strategy.
Indeed, early voting begins as soon as September 6 for eligible voters, with the swing state of North Carolina sending out absentee ballots that day, and six other battleground states doing the same thing later in the month.
Think about it: There are still 71 days until Election Day, and yet eligible North Carolinians will be able to vote just 11 days from today. This means that voters in this crucial swing state will be able to cast a ballot for president without so much as having seen the two candidates debate. …
