Washington, DC – The Planned Parenthood abortion business will close two centers in Louisiana – adding to the list of dozens of abortion facilities the company has closed in the wake of the One Big Beautiful Bill that defunded it.

Both Planned Parenthood facilities in Louisiana will close their doors effective September 30, making it so the state with be free of the abortion business.

Notably, the New Orleans facility was constructed with the stated goal of becoming a regional abortion center, intending to perform nearly 2,844 abortions per year. With Louisiana banning abortions, babies across the state are protected and that goal was not achieved. …
