Planned Parenthood’s national service totals and its local affiliate data on the number of “gender-affirming care” services provided nationally don’t line up, according to a new report from The Daily Wire. 

In a July 24 article, The Daily Wire’s Macy Petty notes that Planned Parenthood’s latest annual report, 2023-24, shows a sharp decline in its “other procedures” subcategory — which includes “transgender” services — despite reports from local affiliates that those services are increasing. The subcategory also includes pediatric care, adult preventative care, and high complexity visits, including infertility services.

In past years, the “other procedures” subcategory of annual reports has seen high numbers. …
