(CNS News) — Commenting on the Senate impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, evangelical leader Franklin Graham said there is no precedent for impeaching a president who is no longer in office, and added that Trump’s “enemies are terrified that he might have a political future” that could threaten their positions and agendas.

“Today the impeachment trial against former President Donald J. Trump begins in the US Senate,” said Rev. Graham in a Feb. 9 post on Facebook. I don’t understand why there’s so much hatred for a president who did so much good for our country and did exactly what he told the American people he would do.”  …
