Washington, DC – Three years ago, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a landmark decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, overturning Roe v. Wade and restoring the right of the American people to enact laws protecting unborn children. For the pro-life movement, Dobbs was not the conclusion of a decades-long battle on behalf of life—it was the beginning of a new era marked by compassion and renewed engagement at every level of society.

The Court’s decision in Dobbs was a long-overdue correction of one of the most egregious legal rulings in American history. In 1973, Roe bypassed the democratic process, legalized unlimited abortion at any time and anywhere, and silenced the voices of millions who believed in the humanity of the unborn child. With the Dobbs decision, the Supreme Court acknowledged that the Constitution does not contain a right to abortion and rightly returned the matter to the people and their elected representatives. …
