Here’s a letter the Lepanto Institute sent to its subscribers today. We want to encourage our followers to consider taking the same step recommended by the Lepanto Institute.
Earlier this week, the Real Presence Coalition – of which the Lepanto Institute is a proud member – published the findings of what is now the largest and most comprehensive survey of Catholics ever conducted in US history (see the results).
With nearly 16,000 responses, the survey asked a series of questions pertaining to the loss of faith and the relation of that loss of faith to Eucharistic practices in this country. To prove that this is not a Traditionalist survey result, 79% of those responding attend the Novus Ordo Mass, while only 21% attend the TLM exclusively. While 43 of that 79% do occasionally attend a TLM, the TLM is not the primary Mass they attend. …
