Maybe the White House should try promoting this celebration.

In light of the White House urging all Americans to celebrate its third annual Transgender Day of Visibility, the Ruth Institute has discerned the need for Adult Appreciation Week, set to take place April 3-9.

“’Transgender’ people are not the only ones who need and deserve ‘visibility,’” said President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse.

Therefore, the group will officially honor adults who:

• put their own interests aside for the common good.

• take responsibility for their mistakes.

• support their families, even by doing unpleasant jobs.

• tell the truth, even when it’s inconvenient. ….
