CV NEWS FEED // The film “Carlo Acutis: Roadmap to Reality,” based on the life of the soon-to-be-canonized saint, will proceed with its release date following Pope Francis’ death.

The release date was planned to fall on April 27, the day Blessed Carlo Acutis was scheduled to be canonized. After the pope’s death, the Vatican postponed Acutis’ canonization, leaving Castletown Media, Wahl St. Productions, the National Eucharistic Revival, the McGrath Institute for Church Life, and Fathom Entertainment to decide whether to move forward with the release of the movie.

According to a press release from Castletown Media, the creators, after consulting with bishops, benefactors, and partners of the film, decided to continue with the original release date of the movie. …
