Donald Trump won the presidency in 2024 largely because he “ran in an unconventional media lane” – and he’ll continue to do so once he’s in office, the president-elect’s press secretary promises. In an interview on Fox News Channel, incoming press secretary Karoline Leavitt attributed Trump’s campaign success to how he utilized members of the New Media to get his message out the American public:

“President Trump ran in an untraditional media lane on the campaign trail – it’s a big part of the reason he won: because he sat down with podcasters and social influencers and new voices that the American people are clearly listening to.”
