The Life of the Trinity dwells within us when we participate in the life of grace offered by the sacraments. This life of grace is bestowed upon us in Baptism, strengthened in Confirmation, and can be renewed even daily if we receive Christ in the Holy Eucharist and are cleansed of our sins in Confession.

Our Lord prayed “that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that thou hast sent me” (John 17:21 [emphasis added]). True unity is visible, doctrinal, and spiritual. …
