A group of Louisianians went on pilgrimage with 3,000 of Mexico’s poorest teenage girls at Villa de Las Niñas in Chalco, Mexico. For five days, they saw a bishop, Bishop Joseph Strickland, meld In persona Christi with the wounds of children and a Franciscan friar, Fr. Clifford Hennings, return to his roots of poverty and love for the forsaken.
