As Catholics around the world celebrate Lent, the Vatican, under the stewardship of radical leftist Pope Francis, wants to make sure that Ramadan is at the forefront.

In a Ramadan message to Muslims, authored by Prefect George Jacob Cardinal Koovakad and Secretary Msgr. Indunil Kodithuwakku Janakaratne Kankanamalage, the Vatican highlighted that the two religious seasons coinciding  is “a unique opportunity to walk, side by side.”

The message, addressed to the Church’s ‘Muslim brothers and sisters,’ reads, “At the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue offers you its warmest greetings and friendship. This time of fasting, prayer and sharing is a privileged opportunity to draw closer to God and be renewed in the fundamental values of religion, compassion and solidarity.” …
