BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS – Massachusetts passed a radical pro-abortion law Tuesday to legalize abortions up to birth and allow young girls to abort their unborn babies without a parent’s knowledge or consent.

The state Senate voted 32-8 to override Gov. Charlie Baker’s veto of the ROE Act following the House vote Monday, MassLive reports. The law goes into effect immediately.

Massachusetts Citizens for Life slammed the vote as an “elitist gesture” that ignored tens of thousands of constituents’ wishes and capitulated to the abortion lobby.

“Almost as disheartening as this new law is the fact that legislators rammed this damaging bill through during Covid, inserting it into the state budget, knowing our opposition could not fight it in person due to quarantine restrictions,” said Myrna Maloney Flynn, president of the pro-life organization. …
