The Windy City cardinal and its mayor were engaged in a “you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” email exchange at the height of the COVID hysteria.

Church Militant’s Martina Moyski tells us more about recently uncovered emails published by the Chicago Sun-Times showing where the cardinal’s faith really lies.

Newly obtained emails show Chicago’s cardinal, Blase Cupich, advised the city’s mayor about making her COVID lockdown messaging more palatable to Catholics.

Cdl. Blase Cupich: “We can’t be naive about the fact that people are afraid and expect that people are going to be busting down our doors to get in Church.” …
