(CNSNews.com) – Absentee voting is “fine,” Attorney General William Barr told CNN’s “The Situation Room” on Wednesday. But universal mail-in ballots — “this is playing with fire,” he said.
“We’re a very closely divided country here. And if people have to have confidence in the results of the election and the legitimacy of the government, and people trying to change the rules to this methodology, which, as a matter of logic, is very open to fraud and coercion, is reckless and dangerous. And people are playing with fire.”
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer used the line heard throughout the liberal media, that there is no evidence of “widespread fraud” in the five states that already mail ballots to all registered voters. More states are now planning to do that, because of coronavirus concerns, they say.
