Michael Matt tackles the latest travesty out of the Vatican: the BRILLIANT plan to excommunicate the whistleblower in the McCarrick case — the most egregious clerical sexual predator in history. Is the former Cardinal McCarrick up for excommunication? Of course not! This is the Church of Accompaniment, dammit, where predators roam free, and whistleblowers get excommunicated.

Still, these are tough times, and good men may not agree on how best to proceed.  Michael Matt has had strategic differences with his friend, Archbishop Vigano, which he also shares in this video, in name of transparency. He’ll be curious to read your comments.
