The beloved Texas bishop pointed to the Rosary as ‘the greatest power we have’ at a rally to protect Ohio’s children.

CINCINNATI, Ohio (LifeSiteNews) — Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas, led Ohio pro-lifers in the Rosary at a prayer rally held in Norwood, Ohio, not far from downtown Cincinnati, in opposition to proposed changes to the state constitution that would enshrine abortion as a so-called “right” and allow the mutilation of children through “transgender” surgeries without parental notification or consent.
While Bishop Strickland led all present in praying the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary, which commemorate the active ministry of Christ’s life, a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary was carried around the rally as a sign of consecration of the state of Ohio to the Mother of God and a plea for her protection of all children in the state.
Thanking those present “for taking the Lord’s Day…to do what we should do on a Sunday, to be with family and friends, to pray, to support the truth, to live for the Lord of life,” Strickland introduced the Rosary, saying, “Now we turn to the greatest power we have: the Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary.” …
