And how do they do that? By keeping their eyes wide open. “Reason is like an eye,” explains Luigi Giussani in his signature work, The Religious Sense, “staring at reality, greedily taking it in, recording its connections and implications, penetrating reality, moving from one thing to another yet conserving all of them in memory, trying to embrace everything.”

By Joy Pullmann, The Federalist - Americans who spent at least three high school years homeschooling or attending a Protestant Christian school are much more likely than public school graduates to express Christian beliefs and attend church as adults, finds a recently released survey. Those surveyed who spent at least three years in a Roman Catholic high school are about as likely to attend church and read the Bible as Americans who attended public schools.
