By Joannie Watson, Integrated Catholic Life - People think I’m a Scrooge... My sister and I lament each year to each other that people are decorating for Christmas earlier and earlier. When I was growing up, decorating the day after Thanksgiving was considered early, and now it’s the norm, even among Catholics. Those of us who wait until even mid-December are the odd balls... And I look like a Scrooge. I don’t play Christmas music until at least after the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. We don’t put our tree until Gaudete Sunday.

Pre-law students at Patrick Henry College, a Christian college founded in 2001, outscore Ivy Leaguers on the LSAT. In 1994, New Saint Andrews College opened with four students in Moscow, Idaho. It now has 220 students and 27 faculty. After opening in 2007 with 35 students, Wyoming Catholic College “has grown 30 percent in the last decade, from 124 to 178 students.” In 1971, Baptist preacher Jerry Falwell started Liberty University. It is now one of the world’s largest Christian universities, with 15,000 students on campus and 80,000 online.

Purdy, Edwards, and Steptoe’s scientific development may have paved the way for millions of pregnancies and births, but it has also opened the door for horrors like switching embryos at birth, designer babies, motherless and fatherless children, the erasure of women’s vital role in reproduction, and fraud.

The campaign to “de-woke” corporate America has claimed its biggest win yet, with the news that retail giant Walmart is abandoning a broad range of “diversity” initiatives it had previously invested heavily in.
