Washington, DC – The Biden administration last week announced its Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will create a publicly-funded abortion hotline that will cost taxpayers around $1.5 million.

HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra praised his department’s initiative, describing it as “a secure national hotline to provide referral services for women in need of accurate information about their legal reproductive health care options.”

CatholicVote Director of Government Affairs Tom McClusky said the hotline represents “a clear violation of the Hyde amendment, using tax dollars to set up a system to make it easier to kill children.” …
