Washington, DC – Donald Trump and Joe Biden debated abortion early in Thursday night’s presidential debate.

During the debate, Trump said that overturning Roe v. Wade and allowing states to protect babies from abortions was a “great decision.”

“Fifty-one years ago we had Roe v. Wade and everybody wanted to get it back to the states. Everybody. Without exception. Democrats, Republicans, liberals, conservatives, everybody wanted it back. Religious leaders,” he said.

“I put three great Supreme Court justices on the court and they happened to vote in favor of killing Roe v. Wade, and moving it back to the states,” Trump said. “Now the states are working it out.” …
