Gene Thomas Gomulka is a sexual abuse victims’ advocate, investigative reporter, and screenwriter. A former Navy (O6) Captain/Chaplain, seminary instructor, and diocesan respect life director, Gomulka was ordained a priest for the Altoona-Johnstown diocese and later made a Prelate of Honor (Monsignor) by St. John Paul II.
German Lutheran pastor and theologian, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, is a well-known anti-Nazi dissident whose prophetic preaching against Hitler led to his being stripped of his clothing and led naked into the execution yard of the Flossenbürg concentration camp where he was executed by hanging on 9 April 1945. His life and ministry stand in stark contrast to the cowardice of many German clergy who not only kept silent, but often rendered a Nazi salute and shouting, “Heil, Hitler!”
Unlike during World War II when many people, both inside and outside of Germany, were unaware of the mass murder of Jews and other opponents of the Nazi regime, today almost everyone is aware of President Joe Biden’s support for the killing of innocent unborn children and homosexual behavior. Although both Hitler and Biden were baptized in the Catholic Church, Hitler, unlike Biden, never made claims as an adult of being a Catholic.
Saginaw Bishop Robert Gruss was attacked recently by left-wing Catholics for a talk he gave on April 5, 2024 in which he said that President Joe Biden was “stupid” and was “not living the life Jesus wants for him.” Gruss qualified his “stupid” remark by explaining, “It’s not stupidity in the derogatory way, it’s stupidity in that … he doesn’t understand the Catholic faith.” Gruss went on to say that while Biden “professes” to be Catholic, he’s actually quite ignorant of what that entails. …
