Cardinal Cupich Pushes for Gun Control In Wake Of Uvalde Shooting

In a recent episode of the Field Hospital podcast, Cardinal Blase Cupich advocated for gun control in the wake of recent mass shootings. In his statement issued after the tragic shooting in Uvalde, Texas, Cupich took aim at the National Rifle Association and stated “The Second Amendment did not come down from Sinai.”

Despite having some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Cupich’s Chicago has consistently been the 1st in the U.S. for homicide. Cardinal Cupich should visit his local emergency room “field hospital” to see how well control is working-out in his own back yard.
