It has come under criticism over the years for promoting abortion in other countries... Musk, leading the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency, announced plans to shut down the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). In an audio conversation on X Spaces, Musk stated, “We’re shutting it down. With regards to the USAID stuff, I went over it with [the president] in detail and he agreed that we should shut it down.”
