Whether it’s his effort to eliminate wasteful government spending, reduce the size of government, stop illegal immigration, or affirm the biological realities of gender, judges have taken it upon themselves to combat his actions.

Wade, those divides have deepened as differing legal regimes emerge across the nation. In some states, such as California and New York, destroying an unborn person in the womb is a fiercely defended “human right.” In others, such as Alabama and Mississippi, abortion is illegal with limited exceptions on the explicit grounds of unborn human rights.

By John Daniel Davidson, The Federalist - In some places (Francis) seems to contradict or misrepresent Catholic teaching, and in other places he uses vague language that could be interpreted multiple ways... Taken out of context from his previous statements on immigration, it would be easy to dismiss the letter as nothing more than sentimental but unobjectionable platitudes about human dignity and the need for Christians to care for the poor. But considered in context, it’s clear that Francis wants to signal that he’s against Trump and Vance on immigration.

Duffy, 53, was one of Trump’s least controversial picks. He got confirmed by the U.S. Senate with a unanimous vote by a Senate committee and a 77-22 vote from the full Senate.
