By Mason Letteau Stallings, The American Conservative - The International Criminal Court announced Thursday that it had issued arrest warrants against Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, a former Israeli defense minister. The warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant were originally requested in late May by Karim Khan, the ICC’s chief prosecutor... The warrant was issued by a three-judge panel, which agreed with Khan’s assertion that Israel had deprived civilians of basic necessities as a means of waging war.

President Joe Biden approved another escalation in his administration’s long march to turn an already extravagant proxy fight into a hot war. Conduct the national investigation which my church’s bishops have so far dodged into 1) the systemic cover-up of clerical sex abuse and 2) the human trafficking conducted by church-controlled nonprofits of illegal immigrants... The DOJ should also investigate the role which the Vatican itself has played in encouraging the sex abuse coverup ....
