The basis of these lessons came from a holistic view of the human person, which included an understanding of our dignity and an awareness and appreciation of our call to transcendence.

In an email from February 20, 2024 a Catholic Charities official sent an update to multiple Illinois government and City of Chicago officials including Chicago Public School and Northwestern employees. The email shows multiple graphs detailing the progress of Catholic Charities efforts to house illegals.

In Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, Friday’s decision overrules Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council, which decided that courts must defer to the interpretative decrees of government agencies. The so-called “Chevron Doctrine” had allowed agencies to bypass Congress and, essentially, make laws restricting and compelling Americans’ actions.

The DHS document stated: “If you ask researchers to dive into indicators of extremists and terrorism, they might indicate being in the military or religious.”
