By Lorenzo Prieto, The Daily Signal - President Donald Trump warned on Saturday that the U.S. will take the crisis into its own hands if local authorities do not... “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, “guns-a-blazing,” to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities,” the president declared on Truth Social.

Sears and Ciattarelli are Outperforming Trump, Could Win Races for Governor, by J.T. Young

By J.T. Young, LifeNews - Virginia’s and New Jersey’s gubernatorial races show the Republican candidates currently matching or beating Donald Trump’s past presidential margins. This is big for these state races and for gauging the overall country’s mood. It could be bigger still if it presages a Republican threat to Democrats’ “second blue wall” in 2026 and 2028... In Virginia, the Republican, Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, has been trailing the Democrat, former Rep. Abigail Spanberger, by double digits as recently as the beginning of October.

Yet the stakes go far beyond the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the historical tensions of the Middle East: what is emerging is a strategic confrontation between blocs of power... And as long as peoples seek security in borders rather than in the pierced Heart of the Savior, they will continue to raise walls where they ought to erect altars.

Catholic Vote: Trump Names Nigeria ‘Country of Particular Concern’ Over ‘Mass Slaughter’ of Christians by ‘Radical Islamists’

Catholic Vote - President Donald Trump declared Nigeria a “country of particular concern” Oct. 31, answering calls from Catholic and other leaders for the U.S. government to confront the persecution of Christians there... “Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter,” Trump said in a strongly worded statement posted to Truth Social. “I am hereby making Nigeria a ‘COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN’…”... “But that is the least of it. ... When Christians, or any such group, is slaughtered like is happening in Nigeria (3,100 versus 4,476 Worldwide), something must be done!”
