The backstory is relatively simple: Denver has become a sanctuary city and the leading adopter of immigrants per capita, with over 40,000 housed in a city of 710,000. However, Denver is not the entirety of its metro area, and the “no-go zone” in question is actually housed in its easterly suburb of Aurora, a large metro area itself, boasting a population close to 400,000.

Catholic leaders are defending Catholic Charities’ participation in the government’s migration-based economic strategy which divides many foreign families, kills many migrants, cuts Americans’ wages, drives up housing costs, expands U.S. poverty, and reduces the incentive for U.S. trade with developing countries.

By Jerzy Kwaśniewski, The Remnant - The debate over the regulation of IVF in the United States, which was sparked by the Alabama Supreme Court’s decision last February, appears to have somewhat subsided after the state’s legislature passed a law to protect IVF service providers, while at the same time bills limiting the ability of individual states to introduce restrictions on medically-assisted reproduction failed to pass in the US Senate.... In contrast with Poland, however, the United States remains a largely self-regulated market for IVF service providers, and if legislation is needed, it is rather legislation that would place some limits on what can and cannot be done.
