Eble, MD., Catholic World Report - A recent article in The New York Times (NYT) titled “A Push for More Organ Transplants Is Putting Donors at Risk” uncovered that 55 medical workers in 19 states “had witnessed at least one disturbing case of donation” using an organ harvesting technique called “donation after circulatory death” (DCD)... The article highlighted multiple cases of organ retrieval either beginning or nearly beginning on living patients, one of whom recalled feeling afraid while in the hospital.

By Landon Mion, Fox News - A pro-life group is celebrating a "tremendous victory" after Planned Parenthood announced two of its facilities in Houston, Texas, will be shutting down this fall, as Republican lawmakers continue to target the organization... In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, 40 Days for Life CEO and founder Shawn Carney, a Houston resident, expressed "both personal and professional elation" at the shuttering of the facilities, including the 78,000-square-foot clinic that he said was the largest abortion facility in the Western Hemisphere... "This is massive news for the pro-life movement and shows the direction that Planned Parenthood is going, which is down," Carney said. ...

Kennedy, Jr., the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services uncovered shocking evidence that at least one organ procurement organization was harvesting organs before the human donors had died... “Our findings show that hospitals allowed the organ procurement process to begin when patients showed signs of life, and this is horrifying,” said Sec. Kennedy in a written statement issued on July 21, 2025. “The organ procurement organizations that coordinate access to transplants will be held accountable. The entire system must be fixed to ensure that every potential donor’s life is treated with the sanctity it deserves.”

By Judy Roberts, National Catholic Register - Born to various surrogate mothers using fertilized embryos from Silvia Zhang, 38, and her husband, Guojun Xuan, 65, the children were discovered as part of a police investigation after a 2-month-old from their home was taken to the hospital, the New York Post reported. That child had suffered a brain injury and is believed by police to have been shaken and struck by the family’s nanny (AP)... The other children in the home also are believed to have been abused. All since have been placed in the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services.
