The UK’s move, like Canada, “[twists] that definition of medicine,” Johnson said.

Still, Johnson said he would like to defund the abortion giant and is working to build the votes to do it. Likely, the only way that can be accomplished is via a reconciliation bill — which both the House and Senate can pass on a majority vote margin.

The vote on the bill, which would allow eligible terminally ill adults in England and Wales to seek assistance to end their lives, was held November 29, with 330 MPs in favor and 275 opposed.
