LifeNews, Center for Medical Progress - Today, the State of California reached an agreement with CMP founder and president David Daleiden and CMP undercover reporter Sandra Merritt to totally dismiss the the unprecedented video recording prosecution first launched by then-Attorney General Kamala Harris... The agreement, a negotiated settlement with zero punishment, involves no jail time, no fines, no admission of wrongdoing, and no probation, is in exchange for a new “no contest” plea by Daleiden and Merritt on a single video recording charge. The new “no contest” plea—which cannot be used adversely—will be entered into judgment as a misdemeanor in 6 to 12 months, and then converted to a “not guilty” plea, dismissed, and expunged.

I wish more of those who have gone down this essentially barren path would write honestly about their sense of emptiness as they age. Of course, this wish does not imply that everyone is called to marriage and family. A vocation, to be discerned well, must be discerned in prayer.

The Virginia prelate recently released a pastoral letter titled ‘The Christian Family, In Vitro Fertilization, and Heroic Witness to True Love.”... Bishop Burbidge noted that infertility is a difficult topic and urges his flock to “proceed with care.”... “Whether or not we are aware of it, we know or encounter others who have experienced fertility challenges or whose lives have been affected by IVF in some way,” the bishop wrote in his Jan. 22 letter.
