FDA Tells Abortion Activists to Stop Selling Dangerous Abortion Pills Putting Women’s Lives at Risk, by Micaiah Bilger

By Micaiah Bilger, LifeNews - The Food and Drug Administration issued warning letters last week to two abortion groups that are selling dangerous abortion drugs to American women over the internet… The groups are putting women at “significant health risks,” according to the agency. They allow women to buy the drugs online without ever seeing a doctor, though abusive partners or parents could easily buy the drugs as well… It noted that approved abortion drugs in the U.S. are dangerous even when provided legally, writing, “… the drug carries a risk of serious or even life-threatening adverse effects, including serious and sometimes fatal infections and prolonged heavy bleeding …”

By John Waters, First Things - The Taoiseach (to outsiders, Ireland’s prime minister, Leo Varadkar) recently responded to a call for crucifixes to be removed from the walls of Irish hospitals: Charities and religious bodies that run hospitals and such should have regard for the fact that in modern Ireland there's now diversity of views on religion and so on. It is the 21st century; a lot of patients, a lot of kids aren't religious, maybe aren't Roman Catholic and the ethos of a publicly funded institution should reflect the public.

By Thomas Gallatin, The Patriot Post - The Democrat-controlled House passed bill HR 1 Friday — the dubiously named “For the People Act1.” The purpose of the bill, according to Democrats, is to “expand Americans’ access to the ballot box, reduce the influence of big money in politics, and strengthen ethics rules for public servants.” However, far from “expanding Americans’ access to the ballot box,” the bill instead runs roughshod2 over Americans’ constitutional rights and states’ rights, diminishing the power of citizens’ votes by failing to prohibit noncitizen voting.
