In a post on social media, Butker wrote, “That is crazy” in response to the performance, and proceeded to quote Galatians 6:7-8 which reads: “Be not deceived, God is not mocked. For what things a man shall sow, those also shall he reap. For he that soweth in his flesh, of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit, of the spirit shall reap life everlasting.”

Mirus, Catholic Culture - Since this recent blasphemy was against Our Lord, it would be a beautiful thing for more Catholics to rediscover the essential but forgotten devotion to the Holy Face, which beautifully combines spiritual warfare (“Arise, O Lord, and let Thy enemies be scattered…”) with reparatory meditation on the sufferings of Christ’s Holy Face during His Passion. And in response to mockery of the Last Supper, what better way of countering hatred with love than to frequently and reverently participate in the perennial and ultimate act of atonement—the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass!

Under the plan, revealed yesterday by Joe Biden in The Washington Post and “co-proposed” by Kamala Harris, Supreme Court justices would serve a term of 18 years, with a new justice selected every two years — basically ensuring each president would pick two to four justices depending on length of service.
