"When it comes to this vaccine, there is no escape.”
Biden’s $6 trillion 2022 budget plan refers to mothers as “birthing people.”... The Biden administration used the term in a section that includes approximately $200 million to reduce the “high rate of maternal mortality and race-based disparities in outcomes among birthing people.” The language in Biden’s budget is not entirely consistent because another section touts paid-leave policies for their success in keeping “mothers in the workplace.’”
