By Brian Robertson, The Federalist - The truth is, few in Kennedy’s coalition of anti-war, medical freedom, and free-speech advocates against the D.C. power structure would have felt highly motivated to turn out for either of the major party alternatives if RFK Jr. had simply withdrawn from the race. The fact that Kennedy not only endorsed Trump but indicated that he would likely be taking a role in policy and personnel decisions in another Trump administration gives his supporters the opportunity to cast a vote for his agenda rather than for Donald Trump, about whom they are unenthusiastic at best.

By Randall Smith, The Catholic Thing - I hope instead I would have read that passage, Mark 9:42, where Jesus says, “Whoever offends one of these little ones…it is better for him that a millstone were hung about his neck, and he were cast into the sea,” and said to myself, “If the Bible says don’t kill but protect the ‘little ones,’ then I had better ‘gird my loins,’ stop thinking like man does rather than as God does and bid Satan to get behind me.” Then at least I could say: “I didn’t vote for those murderous bastards.”

Bankrupt Dioceses Need to Fail, by Matt Kappadakunnel

By Matt Kappadakunnel, Crisis Magazine - Whether we look to the financial or the spiritual basis of bankruptcy, what is evident is the dioceses that are currently in or heading toward financial bankruptcy have already suffered from decades of moral bankruptcy that led to these monetary woes. Rather than defend against or decry a state’s legislative decision that enforces a comprehensive accountability against bad actors within the Church, notwithstanding if the accused is alive or not, Catholics need to call on said dioceses to accept the consequences due unto them.
