By Staff, Complicit Clergy - The Office of Policy and Advocacy of the USCCB Migration and Refugee Services has published a major document summarizing what they believe to be the adverse consequences that will be suffered by illegal aliens as the result of the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill passed in early July. No, this is not a joke. The document is actually 7 pages long... Perhaps the bishops are experiencing withdrawal symptoms from losing the over $3 billion in illegal alien funding they received under the Biden administration. What else could possibly explain the level of neurosis we are currently seeing from the USCCB?

It is fascinating to watch the progression of this episode. It begins with the approach of a “scholar of the Law,” a man who was an expert in explaining the details of the Mosaic Law. He wanted to test Jesus. Why? We don’t know much about this man, but we at least know that his question was not looking for an answer as much as an outcome, although it sounds very noble:
