By Father David Nix,  Padre Peregrino Hermitage Blog - The USCCB continues to issue statements against Trump as they clamor for the billions back once received for illegal activity under the Biden Administration in facilitating open-borders in the United States... However, the Department for Homeland Security also takes the offensive. Homeland issued the following statement to Catholic Charities and the USCCB, among other NGOs: “The chairmen are examining whether these NGOs used taxpayer dollars to facilitate illegal activity, as the previous administration incentivized millions of inadmissible aliens to cross our borders—many of whom were subsequently aided by NGOs after being released at the border under the Biden-Harris administration’s mass catch-and-release policies.”

That’s the logic of President Donald Trump sticking to enforcing our labor and immigration laws with employers who operate sweatshop factories, restaurants, and farms. It applies even more urgently to healthcare... If you’ve had the bad luck to visit a hospital emergency room recently, you’ll have noticed it’s full of foreigners. Many are here illegally. But thanks to Medicaid programs aimed at offering free health care to whoever shows up here, invited or not, our hospitals are crammed with people who never paid into the system.
