The pro-life cause has been ill-served by having its public argument offered in the familiar script of conservative jurisprudence. And yet, through bumbling persistence, it has brought forth, in the House of Representatives, a group of pro-life politicians who somehow manage to do better than the legal professionals who have been presuming over the years to tutor them.
