For sex results in children. Have we forgotten this? Catholic teachings regarding sex and Catholic teachings regarding society are the lungs of one body. Sexual morality is for the protection and promotion of the natural (biological) family, and of adoptive families that affirm the natural by exemplar. The family is both the cradle of society and one of the great ends for which we form societies in the first place.

By Lauretta Brown, National Catholic Register - Pro-life activist David Daleiden is in the middle of a federal civil jury trial facing charges brought by the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, over his undercover videos, initially released in 2015, which allegedly show the organization trafficking in unborn baby body parts… Over the course of the civil trial this month, gruesome details about the harvesting and sale of unborn baby body parts have been highlighted, despite attempts by the judge to avoid discussion of the content of the undercover videos.

Fr. Shenan J. Boquet: Pets – Not Children – Are Now “Family”

Boquet, Human Life International - I don’t watch much TV, but when I do, I am often frustrated by how many major network programs are pushing pets – HGTV, Hallmark, Food Network, etc. This is even from networks that have nothing to do with pets. Recently, I was watching a documentary program on electrical engineering, but the commercials mostly showed images of people with pets – no children. Indeed, everywhere we look – TV commercials, billboards, social media, movies, etc., we are bombarded with images of the “new family” – singles and couples, young and old raising “fur-babies.”

I think it's long overdue," comments Richard Viguerie, chairman of Conservative HQ. "There's a lot of things that people at the grassroots would like, but nothing more so than a backbone. I think it's just wonderful, exciting that finally, late in the game, the Republicans in Congress are showing some backbone, and I wish more would join them."
