By Fr. Shenan J. Boquet, Human Life International - A few days ago, in NY City, two black pro-life women were arrested on the sidewalk outside a Planned Parenthood facility. PP had called the police to report the women. When the police arrived, they ordered (them) to disperse, saying that they were violating Mayor Bill de Blasio’s social distancing orders. When they refused to leave, the women were arrested... The night before (the women's) arrest, NY City had been convulsed by yet another night of protesting, marred by widespread violence and looting. Thousands of people participated in these protests, congregating in tight spaces, often with absolutely no effort at preventing the spread of Covid-19.

Clarence Thomas on Abortion: Liberals Want Limits on Buying Guns But Not on Killing Babies

According to Breitbart, the state requires people to show a “justifiable need” to own a handgun before the state will issue them a permit... A majority of the Supreme Court justices refused to hear the case, but Thomas disagreed, writing: “One would think that such an onerous burden on a fundamental right would warrant this Court’s review. This Court would almost certainly review the constitutionality of a law requiring citizens to establish a justifiable need before exercising their free speech rights.”

This time, his administration has issued a rule to block the effects of a dangerous Obamacare provision that could be used to compel doctors to participate in abortions... The Department of Health and Human Services finalized a rule today that revises 2016 provisions of the Obamacare section 1557 rule that had redefined discrimination “on the basis of sex” to include “pregnancy termination.”

It’s tempting to dig into the rich irony of the phrase “racist institutions that uphold white supremacy” when that accusation is made by an organization whose founder’s goal was the elimination of African Americans.
