Trump Sends Millions of Planned Parenthood Tax Funding to Pro-Life Women’s Clinic, by Patrina Mosley

By Patrina Mosley, LifeNews - News that Planned Parenthood lost a few million dollars to a pro-life healthcare company has sent a shockwave through an abortion industry that, up to now, had a virtual monopoly in Title X family planning money… a $1.7 million annual grant that could have gone to Planned Parenthood has instead been awarded to the Obria Group, a chain of pregnancy care centers that provide comprehensive and life-affirming care to low-income women and men across the country… This demonstrates two things: first, that there are already better options to meet the healthcare needs of women than abortion clinics, and second, that having a pro-life administration from the top down can make a difference.

(Understanding) Planned Parenthood: 96 Years of Sex and Death, by Jim Sedlak (Archives)

By Jim Sedlak, Catholic News Agency - Sanger had three basic philosophies that are still active within Planned Parenthood today: 1. A desire for uninhibited sexual activity.. 2. An aversion to large families, which led her to champion birth control – including abortion – to avoid the natural result of sexual activity… 3. A passion to prevent the birth of “defectives,” which led to her stating in her 1932 Plan for Peace that persons from “dysgenic groups” should be given their choice of sterilization or confinement on a farm for the rest of their lives. Sanger was a member of the American Eugenics Society.

ADF: Abortion Mandate ‘Blatantly Unconstitutional’, by Chris Woodward

By Chris Woodward, OneNewsNow - "It's blatantly unconstitutional," says attorney Jeremiah Galus of Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), the organization representing the churches. "It's rather uncontroversial that churches should be free to operate according to their faith without being threatened by the government, and it's also not very controversial to say that it's wrong to force a church, or anyone else for that matter, to participate in the funding of abortion, especially when their religious beliefs teach that that is the taking of an innocent human life."

Is ‘Unplanned’ the ‘Uncle Tom’s Cabin’ of Our Era? by Nicholas Healy

By Nicholas Healy, National Catholic Register - In the 1850s the nation was roiled by the issue of slavery. There had been major political compromises regarding slavery both in the nation’s founding documents and in subsequent congressional legislation. There was an uneasy peace between the members of Congress from the South, who were determined not only to preserve slavery but to extend it to the new territories in the West, and members from the North, who were determined to limit its expansion. In the beginning of that decade there were few in the North that believed slavery could or should be abolished outright.
