New Report Links Some of Pope Francis’ Goals With Communist Ideology, by William Mahoney

By William Mahoney, Ph.D., Church Militant - A new bombshell report from The Lepanto Institute links Pope Francis' promotion of sustainable development goals to communism… Pope Francis' commitment to promoting SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) was first mentioned in a document by the United Nations Population Fund entitled "Religion and Development Post 2015."… Appreciation of these issues is growing within the UN, as evidenced for example in the May 2014 meeting between the UN leadership and representatives of the Vatican and His Holiness the Pope on the SDG agenda… The Lepanto Institute's report states that, in his 2015 encyclical letter Laudato Si, Pope Francis made 23 direct references to SDGs.

As usual, I hung on his every word… “Every morning, as soon as I wake up, I thank the Lord…” Fr. Al said, and then paused briefly. I waited for him to finish the sentence with something like, for the chance to live another day… But that wasn’t what he said. Instead, he ended the sentence with three words I didn’t expect: “…for the sacraments.”

Walter Rossi, rector of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.,” reports Christine Niles of Church Militant… Speaking to the Italian journalist Marco Tosatti recently, Viganò said, ”Monsignor Rossi is, without a doubt, a member of the ‘gay mafia.’ You can read about him online on The American Spectator website.”

Msgr. Charles Pope: “God Wants Me to Be Happy” – A Reflection on a Deeply Flawed Moral Stance

By Msgr. Charles Pope - One of the questionable, and unfortunately common, forms of moral reasoning today is the rather narcissistic notion that God wants each of us to be happy. Sometimes it is put in the form of a rhetorical question: God wants me to be happy, doesn’t He?... And this sort of reasoning (if you want to call it that) is used to justify just about anything. Thus, in pondering divorce, a spouse might point to his or her misery and conclude that God would approve of the split because God wants me to be happy, doesn’t He? Many seek to justify so-called same-sex marriage, and other illicit sexual notions in the same way.
